In 1918, with an investment of $3,500, an old chicken house belonging to his father, and a big desire to become a furniture maker, eighteen year old Sam P. Schrock began Schrocks of Walnut Creek. Today, we are a privately held corporation owned and operated by Sam's son, Ivan, and his grandson, Bryan. We operate two manufacturing facilities and employ 95 skilled craftsmen and workers.

Schrocks of Walnut Creek is located in the heart of Ohio's Amish Country just 75 miles southwest of Cleveland. We have select dealers throughout the United States (see Showrooms) and have shipped products all over the USA.

Our company began as a furniture manufacturing operation, and in 1960 we expanded to include custom cabinetry, entertainment centers and other woodwork for residential kitchens, baths, and libraries. Cabinetry by Schrocks of Walnut Creek features all wood construction with stained and finished interiors, hand-built by experienced cabinet makers using old-fashioned joinery techniques.

Early in 1995, Schrocks of Walnut Creek began producing high-end Shaker furniture in solid cherry. We later added Mission furniture, and now offer a selection of the finest hardwoods for both lines. Our ever-increasing product offering consists of armoires, bedrooms, bookcases, chairs, china cabinets, coffee and end tables, curio cabinets, desks, dining room tables, lamp stands, entertainment centers, Grandfather clocks and more.
